SHIPPING METHODS & CHARGES

Our online business hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. Orders are shipped via Australia Post and DHL Express. For all shipping enquiries, please feel free to email hello@daughtersofindia.net

We endeavour to process orders within 1–3 business days. Please note during sales periods there may be a slight delay with processing your order.

SHIPPING TO JAPAN

Standard Shipping (Australia Post / DHL Express)

Delivery estimate: 5–7 business days from dispatch. Cost: ¥3,000 (up to 0.5kg) / ¥4,000 (over 0.5kg)

Express Shipping (DHL Express)

Delivery estimate: 2–3 business days from dispatch. Cost: ¥4,500 (up to 0.5kg) / ¥5,500 (over 0.5kg)

Free Standard Shipping

Free Standard Shipping on orders over ¥35,000. Delivery estimate: 5–8 business days from dispatch.

All orders include tracking. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.

PRICING

All prices are displayed in JPY (Japanese Yen).

CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES

As an international shipment, your order may be subject to Japanese customs processing. Import duties on clothing are typically 0–5%, which amounts to approximately ¥500–1,500 on most orders. Any applicable duties or consumption tax are collected by the carrier at delivery. This is standard practice for international purchases in Japan.

SHIPPING DELAYS

Please note that your order may be subject to delays outside of Daughters of India’s control. Shipping delays can be a result of holiday periods, customs processing, or the remote nature of your delivery location. For time-sensitive orders, we recommend opting for express delivery. Daughters of India is not responsible for shipping delays on orders and cannot guarantee exact delivery dates or timeframes.

LOST PARCELS

Daughters of India offers tracking for all orders, however Daughters of India does not accept responsibility for goods lost in transit or goods that have been delivered with a valid proof of delivery. If your parcel goes missing, please contact us at hello@daughtersofindia.net and we will assist with a carrier investigation.

We do not provide a prepaid return label for Switzerland. We recommend using Swiss Post for your return shipment.
